...and boy what a ride I've been on the past 16 months.
This was a video I did for Luca's first birthday - enjoy!
Luca continues to grow and develop his amazing personality, be blows me away with how lovely he is..laughing, joking and now putting sentences together to let me know how his day was. I won't lie, there have been tough times as well...we're all learning how to cope with tantrums. But ultimately being a mum is the greatest achievement of my life.
In July of 2011, my half sister Rebecca, who was also adopted out by Debbie, found me. It was a great to meet her and we've developed a friendship which has been exceptionally easy. Like we've been sisters all along.
On other news, mum was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer back in November 2011. Basically a few days before Luca's 2nd birthday. It's been a roller-coaster of emotions as we come to terms with our new reality - but we're remaining positive for her...I believe she will fight this with all she's got...
And as 2011 draw to a close, and I kicked it out the door...we're now approaching February 2012. WOW....where is the time going?
We're moving into our house, hopefully, in late February and we're going to start trying for another baby.
I'm excited about what could possibly happen this year....I just have to keep my head up and carry on.
